Yes, the Price of pcAmerica Cash Register Express Increased on New Years Day    

While there has not been an increase in the price for the popular POS system for quite some time things changed with the beginning on 2022. The cost of CRE licenses and annual support contract have increased. However the monthly cost of a license or support did not increase at all. I guess that is more incentive to opt for the Software as a Service model instead of the one time purchase. pcAmerica Cash Register Express

  What is this software called? Is it pcAmerica or Cash Register Express?  Yes, kind of a silly thing to blog about, however it is a real issue sometimes. We still have people contact us looking for pcAmerica and we say OH, sure you need Cash Register Express (CRE). They always reply no, we need pcAmerica! So to straighten this out, they are the same thing. The company that created CRE was called pcAmerica and the product was Cash Register Express. In some circles however the product became known as the company name instead of the product name or in some cases by both.
